Tonight is very special… Good Gravy has released their first album and tonight they will be celebrating with a show in Fort Collins at the Aggie! I will be live painting for this occasion and I was also the artist who did their album cover so I hope you all enjoy! Much love to the guys in Good Gravy, I am so proud of you all!!!

Rootwire 2010 was more than I could have ever asked for. The music, the people, and the vision that was achieved was something I will be forever thankful I was a part of. I want to send out my sincerest thank yous to Ed Quatkemeyer, Anthony Thogmartin, Billy Brouse, Mike Healy and Rob McConnell for everything they did to create such an amazing experience for everyone who attended. I can’t believe it’s finally here, Rootwire festival in Logan, Ohio. I’m packing up the car with with my co-pilot Sierra and heading east with a new patchwork poster and all my paints in tow. I will be live painting each night of the festival for the bands Papadosio, The Malah, Ultraviolet Hippopotamus, and so many more and I could not be more excited to do so. I will also be selling some of my original paintings as well as a new patchwork poster! I want to send out my sincerest thank yous to Papadosio and everyone involved in this festival for this great opportunity; I am honored to be a part of this! See ya’ll in Ohio!!!

Sonic Bloom was truly an experience I will never forget. Dreams and goals were met getting to live paint for the bands EOTO, Big Gigantic, LYNX & Janover, ZILLA, VibeSquaD, Beats Antique, Eskmo, Karsh Kale, and so many more. I felt honored to be part of a festival with so many amazing artists, both musical and visual.  I want to send out my sincerest thank yous to Jamie Janover for letting me be a part of the visual artist line-up and to Michael Garfield for organizing the artists and the Gallery.

This year at Sonic Bloom I had the absolutely wonderful experience of being part of a collaborative painting done with the other festival’s featured live painters; including Michael Garfield, Mackenzie Page, Krystal Smith, Tourmaline Todd, Adam Fu Reed, Andy Reed, and ChelseaLyn Graeber. This piece was created entirely for charity and will be sold at auction with all proceeds going to the Gulf Coast Oil Relief. I feel incredibly  honored to be part of a piece created for such a good cause and I felt truly privileged to have worked on something with so many amazing artists!

I’m really excited about live painting tonight for the Mile High Sound Movement. These guys are the first ones who gave me an opportunity to live paint a little over a year ago. It is always such a pleasure to paint for them and I will be forever grateful for what that expierence brought out in me. The show is at Cervantes in Denver at 8:00 pm so I hope to see you all there!!!

I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of Sonic Bloom this year!!! I cannot wait to live paint at the Mish for such an incredible line-up of Artists. This is going to be such a high energy yet intimate festival that I know will have a vibe that is unbeatable. Get ready for some unforgettable shows and crazy canyon parties, let the countdown begin!!!

Papadosio is coming back to Colorado this week and I could not be more excited! I will be live painting for them in Fort Collins at Hodi’s Halfnote on Thursday night and in Denver at Quixotes on Saturday night. Saturday night they will be joined by Juno What?! for a three stage mini-fest bubble party that also includes a late night set by Fresh2Death. I’m also going to have the poster posted to the right for sale with a very limited amount of prints so come to the merch table to grab one!! I hope to see you all there, this is going to be a blast!!

I’m looking forward to another weekend of fun in the sun in Ozark, Arkansas at Wakarusa 2010!! I’m road tripping down south with my girls and not to worry– a new patchwork poster will be in tow. I have been working so hard on this new poster and I can’t wait to share it with you all. Keep an eye out for me walking around during the day so you can check it out. I am also going to have prints of some of my other art for sale as well, so I hope you all enjoy. Cheers to the start of whats going to be such an epic summer!!
